Direct Routing allows you to connect Teams to TRC Si Cloud ranging from voice services and dialing plans. This means being able to take advantage of cheaper call rates, more flexibility, and better hands-on support. It is also helpful for the companies that are locked into existing contracts with PSTN providers such as Bell Canada, Rogers, Allstream, Telus, allowing them to use Teams without violating the contract in any capacity.
Microsoft Calling Plan
A Microsoft calling plan is a path to the PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) managed and delivered entirely by Microsoft. This option is costly and only available via Microsoft Cloud and limited in its offering and does not include International Calling without additional costs. Porting numbers can also be confusing and time-consuming, with limited to no dedicated contact to help with the process.
